We live in a house that is made of stone
Together we turned it into a home
Regarding the stories of love and strife
This is the place where we live our life

For the dawning of a new day every time the sun will set
But the light returns to shine upon the road that lies ahead
Even if the tide is shallow and we’re stranded in the rough
I am sure that we can make it if we want it bad enough

We started a fire, let the embers glow
Planted a garden and we watched it grow
Sat on the porch and then life was good
Everything turning out like it should
